Sad news today, in regards to the impending LAN party. After conferring with the electrician in charge of powering the Catacombz event, it appears that we will be capping the event at a recommended 60 users. This is half the number we were shooting for, when the event was first planned. On the bright side, this gives us a great opportunity to stress test some generators, in the off chance we overbook the event! :) Needless to say, Catacombz v2.0 will be in a new locale. |

What a LAN party! AsylumLan was another raving success, this weekend. Many DgN members spent most of Monday recovering from 30 hours of gaming. We'll get some pictures of the event posted soon, along with the winners of the coveted Warcraft III tournament. The guys from Ev3 were awesome! |

Another busy week, like most, is upon us. Many a clan member is preparing that final "winning strategy" for the WarCraft III tournament at AsylumLan 9.5. The rendevous for departure has tentatively been set for [DgN]k0ld's house with an ETD around 9:30am this Saturday morning. Setup for the event begins at 8am and will run till noon, for the brave one's out there. If the old man gets there before you.. consider your seat "toggled". |

It's official! The First Big LAN party to hit Southern Illinois is in the works. We've waited for years for someone to do this, now we need not wait anymore. Dungeon Inc with much help from Heartland Gamers & AsylumLan is proud to announce Catacombz, a 75-100 person LAN party, with anticipation of becoming a quarterly event. Details are still coming in at present, but the place to be October 26'th at 10AM is the American Legion in Harrisburg, IL. Sign ups will begin in about a week, with the Pre-pay option being the only way to reserve your seat. |

Looks to be an exciting weekend when Foghorn and his band of merry gamers come over for another ass whipping this Friday night. The crew from Evansville will make their way to the [DgN] lair around 7'ish for all who wish to attend. Very neat little graph of the channel we hang out in on mIRC. Once again, props to Foghorn.. the man with the plan. |

Ahhh.. so it's 4AM, and I now have this web editor figured out. Since I have long forgotten what I was going to say, I think I'll just post this and be done with it: New Category 6 horizontal wiring is now in place at Dungeon Inc. Those servers should have no problems dishing out those packets of cyber fantasies and mind blowing games. Already a few members have jumped on the gigabit bandwagon with the purchase of gigabit cards, followed by a few other members promising to comply in short order. Next Step: Gigabit Switch. (Estimated Time of Arrival: Mid August). |

Making some waves! That's how one Dungeon Inc. member described it when we climbed into 1st place a few hours ago, in the Distributed Chess program known as Chess Brain. Our progress can be found here. A mention on the neowin forums is also flattering when we were mistakenly thought of as a team from SlashDot. A quick correction was posted by [DgN]Ophidian followed by some stats. Team Neowin seemed to have some problems getting underway, but once the bugs were lined out, it was off to the races! It looks like they'll be joining us in the Top 5 before the new client is released. (Hang in there guys! You will absolutely smoke us with the next client!) The new client will reportedly be released within 2 weeks, and feature no "wait-states" which many of us are suffering through now ;) hehehe We love ya CJ! Heavy on the CPU utilization means fewer clients per machine, which would in turn eliminate Team Dungeon Inc. and it's three member distributed chess cabaret from the Top 10.
