You asked for it, and you got it. Dungeon Inc. proudly presents Catacombz v2.0, a 60 person LAN gaming event. We are doing the signups just a lil' different this time. First, we ask that you register on this site by signing up over there on the left. After you have done this, click here to signup. If you want to see who all is signed up and paid, then click here to show those with confirmed seats This is a pre-pay only event, so go ahead and paypal us when you sign up so you don't forget :) And now on to the details.....
When: High Noon on Feb 1st to 4pm Feb 2nd Location: Harrisburg Legion Hall; Harrisburg, IL Cost: $20 (or one Jefferson face if you want to be blingish about it)
There's the boring stuff...on to the goodness:
As far as official tournaments go, we will be having a Unreal Tournament 1v1 DeathMatch and Unreal Tournament 5v5 Capture The Flag tourneys, along with an UNofficial Warcraft 3 2v2 tourney. Don't fret, we WILL play other games, but as far as what else we play, we'll leave that up to you guys.
This event is limited to 60 people, on a first come, first served basis, with signups ending at midnight on the 28th of this month. Payment is expected within one week of signing up. If you forget where to send the money to, it's right here
If you've been to a LAN party before (Catacombz or AsylumLAN for example) then you know what to expect and know what rules you will have to abide by. If not, they will be in the email sent out in a couple of weeks.
I can't really think of much more to say right now, so keep checking back on the site for news and updates, and watch for an email in a couple of weeks.
Most of this stuff is done by hand, and not in real time, so if you have paid, and don't see a Y beside your name, don't worry. |

So there I was.. anyone who knows me, knows what comes next. Therein, lies my delimma. What is to become of dungeoninc.com in the future? Have we become a pandering group of hardware/gaming afficionados that we care how Politically Correct we are, or who we offend? The fate is in your hands.. Read on for your chance to offend someone.
When the idea for dungeoninc.com first presented itself, I immediately thought of some gruff, hard-hitting, must-be-18-to-enter sort of website, where the topics were off-color and the commentary was engagingly risquè. Why should our online personification of DgN be any different than our everyday vernacular? Why should we try to make the tone of this website appease the masses? Or even be fit for a 10 year-old kid to read?
It is quite possible that I'm missing the boat here, afterall a few of us might even enjoy the fact that our parents can read this website without flinching at the foul language. However, is this the feeling of the majority of DgN members? Or are we ready to pimp this site out, DgN style!?! Post your comments below. Only DgN members will be counted, but all will be considered. |

Two months into the development of DungeonInc.com and we're already surpassing all expectations! November has been good to us. With more than 5200 page views and easily trippling our October viewings, www.DungeonInc.com is off to a roaring start.
The stats page can be found here. Lots of IE & Windows users out there. Bad news if you're one of the Jehova Witnesses that couldn't figure out how to operate a PC. With more exposure, comes more opportunity for sponsorships. The Catacombz events are already prospering from the many hits we have received via web links. One of our bigger refferring links is currently coming from AsylumLan. You guys are awesome! So, as November draws to a close, I would just like to thank the guys who have made our site into the information nexus that it is, and December no doubt will start gearing up for Catacombz v2.0 - Stay tuned for Details!
Note: Anyone have a molex connector for my christmas lights? |

Anyone who's reading this on a high speed connection, probably doesn't live around here, and Verizon would like to keep it that way! In their latest propoganda release, Verizon is now trying to threaten customers in downstate Illinois that their phone bills are going to go through the roof if the ICC's mandate for them to provide Advanced Telecommunications Services to 80% of it's customers by January 1, 2005 is not abolished.
The docket number for the case to be heard is 02-0560 and the website can be found here. Go and email everyone on the service list and tell them how you feel about Verizon and their quality coverage of downstate Illinois. LOL! If Verizon gets their petition passed, it could be another century before DSL finally arrives. As for the "adverse ecomonic impact on users" or the "unduly ecomonically budensome" upgrade, I say I've been paying $40/mo just for the privlidge of having a phone in my house wether I use it or not. Give me my DSL!

On Thursday November 14th at 2:22am the clan grew by one more, with the birth of Blake Douglas Eversmann. He weighed in at 7lbs 8ounces and was 20inches long, not bad for being 4weeks early. He is doing fine and will hopefully come home this Friday or Saturday. Shortly after, I (ReSpir8) will be moving back and I plan on being present at more events and gatherings. So things here are good. Just one more thing: Confuscious say, "Man who recieves cockpunch not have children."
Later all, ReSpir8 |

This weekend was AsylumLAN 10. Two words pretty much sums it up. IT ROCKED! DgN was in full force with 12 of us attending (making us the largest clan there and earning us some sweet t-shirt's from Soyo).
I'm not sure what the final count was, but I think it was right at 150. The network was extremely quick, but then again, what would you expect with Demo and AlexKidd of LanRental.com behind the scenes. Daem0nspawn was in attendance and impressed alot of people..
We had a blast on the numerous UT and BF1942 servers, and enjoyed some Warcraft3 and CS action too. Overall, we had a blast! Big thanks go out to Fog, Kitty, Insane and the rest of the AsylumLan crew for putting on a great LAN party. Check out AsylumLan.com for a more in-depth recap.
Update: Pictures from ALX can be found here
Note: ALX = bling BLING |

Twas the night before ALX and all through the DgN, not a gamer was stirring not Ophidian.
The Cat 6 was laid by the Gear grips with care, in hopes that some phat servers tomorrow would be there.
When what to my wondering eyes should appear, G0dm0mma with a movie, bringing me a beer!
Now the PC's are all tucked into my truck with great care, I can olny hope for a safe ride over there.
If you aren't going to tomorow, I understand, please don't pout..
Once again, our friends in E'ville have managed TO SELL OUT!!!
-kick ass-
Note: Ready. Set. Gone! |

In a surprising turn of events today, Dungeon Inc became the proud owners of 3 paired Armadillo coated Fiberoptic cable. This is the stuff you can drive a tank over!
Needless to say, some GBIC cards are going to be needed for this to work, but faster downloads & lower ping times are a target for Catacombz v2.0 (coming this Feb. 1'st & 2'nd).
Just one of the many improvements to be made for Catacombz v2.0. Stay tuned for more updates, as we prepare for a second helping of your favorite LAN party - DgN style!
