Another event has come and gone with Catacombz 13.0 this June. I'd like to think that it was a smashing success! Aside from some slighter warmer temperatures, the event went very smoothly. We ran into a couple of minor snags with some faulty network cable early in the event, but Sinjin was able to get those issues quickly resolved.

We were able to run two tournaments at this event, one for CoD4 and L4D. The team that won the CoD4 tourney consisted of WORB, Mav, 220V, Xzaf, and myself. As for the L4D tourney, the winning team was Drakken, Carebear, Empire00, and Thratch. Congrats to all who won!

Thanks again to all of our incredible sponsors! We truly appreciate all of the support you provide to us! We'd also like to thank everyone for coming out. We hope you all had a great time, and hope to see you at some of our future events.

That's right folks...version 13.0 of Southern Illinois' longest running LAN party is SOLD OUT! All 56 seats are currently filled, and this event is going to rock! However, if you are one of the unlucky ones that did not get a seat for this incredible event, there may still be a chance for you. Hit the "Contact Us " page and drop me a line expressing your interest. I'll add you to the waiting list (first come, first serve), and if anything opens up, you'll get another chance to register.

On the flipside of that, if you are already registered, but haven't paid yet, we would appreciate your payment as soon as possible. Once paid, you will be able to choose a seat on the seatmap.  Just as a reminder, there are several ways to pay. They are:

• Bring the money to us personally
• Mail payment to me
• Pay via PayPal or credit card

Also, don't forget that you do NOT need a PayPal accout to pay online. Just click the "Payment" on the right side, then follow it to the PayPal page. Once there, there will be a link in the lower-left that says:

Use your credit card or bank account (where available). Continue

This is where you can make a one-time payment with your credit card, without the need of a PayPal account. Please don't forget that your payment of $20 must be received by June 16, or you will be charged $25 at the door instead.

Catacombz Forums: Catacombz 13.0 - Tournaments!!

Hey people...time is winding down for Catacombz 13.0, and things are really shaping up for this to be an incredible event. At this time, we already have 45 out of 56 seats registered, leaving 11 before we are sold out. I know some of you like to wait for the last minute to register, but in this case, you really might want to get signed up as soon as possible or there might not be a seat left for you. We've got some terrific sponsors lined up for this event, which translates into some fantastic swag for all of you. Please keep this in mind for your future purchases and consider supporting our sponsors. They really do take great care of us, and we'd like to do all we can to show our appreciation.

Our next Mini-Combz event is coming up next Friday, May 21 at 7pm. As usual, it will be held at Southeastern Illinois College, Building G. This will be the last Mini before Catacombz. So, if you haven't paid for your seat yet, and would like to bring it to us personally, this is your chance. Not to mention it will be a fine evening of fragging each other senseless! Come on out and join us!

The early bird seats went fairly well at the Mini-Combz event last night. However, we have 11 seats still available to purchase at the discounted rate of $15, and tonight is your last opportunity to take advantage of this offer. Between the hours of 7:00pm and 12:00am, I'm going to open registration for the final round of early bird registrations. In order to qualify, you MUST register for the event and pay tonight by midnight! Anyone who has registered and not paid by then will still be subject to our standard registration fees of $20 prior to the event, and $25 at the door. Because of the ridiculous fees charged by PayPal, we would always appreciate it if you paid one of our staff directly, rather than with PayPal. However, if this is not an option, we do understand.

Speaking of the Mini-Combz last night, I wanted to thank everyone that came out to join us. We had a fantastic turnout, and it seemed like everyone had a great time. In my personal opinion, that was one of the best Mini-Combz events we've had in a long time. Keep watching this site and our Facebook page (facebook.com/Catacombz) for upcoming event information.

Here at Catacombz.com, we have decided to mix things up a little and try something new for Catacombz 13.0 (June 19-20). For the first time ever we are going to offer early bird registration with a discount for those who sign up! Hopefully this will help not only get attendees signed up early, but it will also help us to secure even more sponsors which translates into more swag for you! 

We are opening up 25 seats at a discounted price of $15, and those who attend our March 26th Mini-Combz will have the first option of securing their seat. In order to secure your seat, you must register and pay the $15 registration fee that night. If we do not sell all 25 early bird seats at the Mini-Combz, the remaining seats will go up for grabs here on Catacombz.com the following evening, Saturday March 27, at 7:00pm and will remain available until midnight. Only those who register and pay before midnight will be allowed to secure their discounted seat.
