Well, this is a bit overdue, but here's a recap for our last big event...Catacombz 7.0.
We ended up having a total of 40 people in attendance, due to some last minute cancellations and no-shows. However, that didn't stop us from having a great time.
Call of Duty: United Offensive, Warcraft 3, Counter-Strike 1.6, UT2K4, and a handful of other games ruled the event. Surprisingly, we never got a match of BF2 off the ground, which is a bit shocking for our group. Our tournaments weren't really in play this time around either...largely due to lack of players that had signed up to compete. We tried a Call of Duty Capture the Flag tournament, but had to end it in a draw after no decisive victor could be determined between the final two teams.
Our sponsors really seemed to come through for us a lot more at this event than previous times. We had several nice door prizes that were given away. With your continued support of Catacombz, helping us grow, those prizes will get better and better.
The Catacombz staff would like to send a big thanks to all those who assisted with setup and tear-down. You guys truly make it easier on all of us. Also, a great big thanks goes out to Kari Jo for doing a fantastic job assisting us with our concessions. All of the hard work that all of you put into this event was greatly appreciated.
I guess that's about it. Photos from this event are already posted in our Photo Gallery, so feel free to peruse those if you wish. We will still continue to have our monthly events somewhere around the last Friday of every month. Check our Calendar for more information. To everyone that attended Catacombz 7.0, we hope you had a great time, and hope to see you all back at our future events!

Registration has officially ended for Catacombz 7.0. There are still 3 seats open. Anyone wishing to attend, but did not register still have two options.
1.) Contact me directly by e-mailing me at dezastr@catacombz.com. I will then add you to the attendee list. This will guarentee you a seat, but the entry fee will be $25.
2.) Show up on the day of the event and hope there is still a seat open. This will not guarentee you a seat at the event.
So, that's it! It should be a great event, and it's coming up this weekend!! See you there! |

***Updated 10/14/06***
We had reached max capacity with 50 attendees registered, but we have now dropped back down to 49. So, with 1 seat left, it goes back up for grabs to whoever wants it.
As a reminder, please remember that we do have a waiting list in place for any of you who did not get registered, but would at least like a shot at coming to the event. Just sign-up for the event as normal and you'll be placed in waiting. Should someone cancel their registration, attendees will automatically be pulled from the waiting list in the order they registered.
For everyone else that has registered, we are now one week away from Southern Illinois' longest running LAN party...CATACOMBZ! |

It's coming down to the wire. We have two seats left, and 1 week before registration ends. I've spoken with a few "maybe" people out there, but it's going to come down to who registers first.
So, you know you're out there. You know you've been putting off registering. Why wait any longer? Sign up now and confirm your seat! |

We are down to our last FIVE seats! If there is anyone who has put off signing up, you'd better do it quick or you may not have a seat at the event. This should be one hell of an event!
On a related note, thanks to Ophidian, we now have a new waiting list in place for this event. So, if the event becomes full, but you would still like a shot at coming to the event, we still encourage you to register for it. The first 50 registered will have priority to the event, but those on the waiting list will have first come, first serve access to any seats that may become open. |

As the subject of this post implies, PayPal is once again an option for payment. As such, we must resume the late payment policy. For more information, please see the Sign-Up Page.
Oh yeah...and Mini-Combz is still coming up this weekend! :) See you there... |

This is just a friendly reminder to all that our next Mini-Combz event will be next Friday, September 22. This will be the last Mini-Combz before Catacombz 7.0, so if you would like to pay early for the event, we would certainly appreciate it if you could bring your cash with you.
Speaking of paying for Catacombz, we are still working to resolve the issue with the PayPal account. As soon as it becomes available, I'll send an e-mail to all registered attendees letting them know. Also, just so this doesn't go unspoken, we do not necessarily prefer that you pay with PayPal, but we do accept it as an alternative. Cash is king, as they say.
We are still over a month away from Catacombz 7.0, and we already have 31 registered attendees at the time of this writing. That is absolutely fantastic! There are still several groups of gamers I'm waiting to hear back from, but it's looking like we are on pace to easily sell out this event. So, if you want a guaranteed seat, you'd better get signed up as soon as possible or there may not be any seats left! |

In the 10'th Year of their combined glory, the Catacombz crew, opened the Registration Portals for their 7'th major event. A mere 50 slots have already began to be filled.. as history once again unfolds, while maximum capacitance is reached in yet another record breaking amount of time.
As the registration opens, excitement and nervous apprehension fill the atmosphere: "Will it be bigger than last time?" "Will it still involve horseplay?" "Who will be duct taped to the flag pole this time?" All I can say is: YES! YES! and Jman!
Grab your C**K and get ready to Rock, it's open season at the Catacombz v7.0 "Halloween Edition". |

The past Mini-Combz was great as always, and we've got the next one coming on September 22. Hopefully we can get our attendance back up a little bit then, because after that is Catacombz 7.0.
Speaking of Catacombz 7.0, it will be on October 21 and 22. I will be opening registration for this event within a week or two, so keep a close eye on the site. |
