First of all, I'd just like to give a quick reminder to everyone that our next Mini-Combz is THIS Friday! That's tomorrow night, August 25. Setup begins at 6pm, with gaming to commence around 6:30 - 7:00pm.
Also, for those of you keeping track, we have changed the scheduled dates for Catacombz 7.0. The new dates are October 21 & 22. As always, the doors will open at 10:00am on the 21st, and if there's anyone left awake, we'll be there until 5:00pm on the 22nd. Registration will begin in the near future, so keep an eye on the site for updated information. |

Just a friendly remind to everyone that the next Mini-Combz will be this Friday, July 28. We will begin setup at 6:00pm and gaming should commence at 7:00pm.
Hopefully we'll have a good turnout at this event. We haven't ran into any scheduling conflicts this month, and hopefully won't have that problem again.
See you there! |

The latest installment to the Mini-Combz saga took place this weekend, this time seeing upward of 20+ gamers in attendance. While we were still missing a few of our regulars, we had a great time.
Our regular games of CoD:UO, BF2, and War3 ruled the night. We got into some pretty heated matches in our War 3 Three Corridors map, as well as some bot-ass-kicking fun with BF2. We were able to test out the new features of the 1.3 patch of BF2, which included co-op play and vehicle drops....it made for some pretty good matches.
Our calendar should be accurate all the way up to Catacombz 7 (which is still up for discussion on the actual date). All dates have been reserved, so there should be no further complications.
Our next event is scheduled for July 28, so hopefully we'll see you all there. |

Alright people, we've got our next Mini-Combz date set. It will be Friday, June 16 (next week) at 7:00pm.
All future events up to Catacombz 7 have already been reserved, so there should be no other changes, for a while anyway.
So, make sure to spread the word so everyone knows when the next event is. See you there... |

Ok...Our next Mini-Combz was originally scheduled to be June 30th, but someone else has already reserved the building for that date. Terrific, eh? So, the reschedule for our next Mini-Combz is currently pending.

Surprisingly, we didn't have a very strong turnout for this event, but I believe we all still had a great time gaming. I believe our final head count for the night was somewhere around 16. We played a fairly balanced portion of CoD:UO, Battlefield 2, and Warcraft 3.
We would like to thank the guys from S.I.G.O. for coming out and gaming with us. We enjoying having you there and hopefully we'll see more of your crew back at our events in the future.
Currently, our next Mini-Combz is scheduled for Friday, June 30 at 7:00pm. However, be sure to watch the site for potential date changes. See you all there! |

I have just a few quick notes to share...
First of all, the next Mini-Combz has been moved up to May 19, instead of May 26. This was the only date available for the Community Center. So, May 19 at 7:00pm.
Secondly, I'll try to have the Catacombz 6.0 photos online later today if I can. The hi-res photos are online right now in a RAR file for whoever wants them. However, you will need to contact me and I will give you the address to download them. Only those who attended Catacombz 6.0 will have access to the photos.
Finally, I wanted to extend my appreciation as well to all those who attended Catacombz 6.0. It was a great event, and I know I had a great time. I hope all that attended did as well. If you didn't, please feel free to contact us and let us know what we could have done better to allow everyone to have a great time.
That's all for now. Keep watching the site for updated information! See you soon!

First off, i would like to thank everyone that came out and made Catacombz 6.0 another successful event and a big thanks to everyone who helped setup and tear down.
A very wide variety of games on hand, BF2, CS (diff versions) CoD:UO, CoD2, UT2k4, Warcraft3, and others. Had Two Tourneys both with random teams. Winners of the CS 1.6 TDM 5V5 was the Team of Scriptlord, Slider, Atticus, TheReeper and SilentKnight and Winners of the CoD UO CTF 4v4 was the Team of Ionn, NiteSkYy, Chubbz, and Toggleg0d. We were able to see some new faces this year and i always enjoy meeting new gamers. The Crew from Marissa, IL holds the current Combz Record for Crew/Clan traveling the longest to attend and we hope to see them next time. Had no major hardware problems with anyones PC and had a strong showing still there throughout the night. I dont have anything else to add except thanks again to everyone and i had a great time being able to game with all of ya and see you at Catacombz 7.0 |

Yes, yes...ANOTHER new update! :P
We have had a couple of cancellations, and so now have 5 open seats. I will manually register anyone that wants to come IF they contact me by 12:00pm CST tomorrow (Friday, April 7). This will guarantee them a seat, without having to worry about other walk-ins getting there first.
So, if you want a seat, either e-mail me at dezastr@catacombz.com, private message me here on the site, or post a message on our forums.
The clock is ticking! :D |
